DESCRIPTION:The Hitchcock Center is proud to co-sponsor a series of Zoom webinar talks with Climate Action Now and Save Massachusetts Forests. The second of two talks in the series\, Protecting Forests: A Series of Talks About the Critical Importance of Forests in the Time of Climate Change will be given by Michael Kellett. Forests are vital in mitigating climate change\, and restoring and sustaining healthy ecosystems to protect biodiversity\, provide clean air and water\, and enhance human health. \nMichael Kellett\, Executive Director and co-founder of RESTORE: The North Woods and Dr. Bill Stubblefield\,  biologist and expert on the role forests can play in mitigating climate change and biodiversity collapse. \nWe’re excited to present the latest forest science and policy from these experts! DESCRIPTION:The Hitchcock Center\, in collaboration with Antioch University New England\, is hosting the In Bloom in Western Mass webinar and panel discussion on the new film Turning School Inside Out.\n\n\n \n\n\nThe webinar will feature Western Massachusetts principals and regional educators discussing their experiences with implementing innovative outdoors practices in their preschool\, kindergarten and early elementary grades in their schools. They’ll describe some of their programs\, and discuss how they’ve supported and encouraged teachers to move some of the curriculum into the natural world.
