Our Massachusetts Forests: To Cut, or Not to Cut?

The Hitchcock Center is proud to co-sponsor a series of Zoom webinar talks with Climate Action Now and Save Massachusetts Forests. The second of two talks in the series, Protecting Forests: A Series of Talks About the Critical Importance of Forests in the Time of Climate Change will be given by Michael Kellett. Forests are vital in mitigating climate change, and restoring and sustaining healthy ecosystems to protect biodiversity, provide clean air and water, and enhance human health.

Michael Kellett, Executive Director and co-founder of RESTORE: The North Woods and Dr. Bill Stubblefield,  biologist and expert on the role forests can play in mitigating climate change and biodiversity collapse.

We’re excited to present the latest forest science and policy from these experts! There will be time for Q & A following each talk.
