Did you know vernal pools only last a few months before drying up for the summer? The fascinating animals that live there have to be adapted to survive in these temporary conditions. Come investigate who lives in a vernal pool by collecting creatures and looking at them up close! Bring a snack and clothes for the weather, especially waterproof footwear such as rain boots. Waterproof boots are a must! Space is limited.
