Yesterday, students in Homeschool II: H2WHOA! visited Town of Amherst, MA’s wastewater treatment plant to learn about what sewage is, and how our local sewage water is collected and treated.

We were so impressed by the energy and curiosity these students brought for the staff; asking detailed and important questions at every step of the tour.

We have two Homeschool Discovery Days coming up where we’ll learn all about invertebrates and pollinators! https://www.hitchcockcenter.org/homeschool/

We have a NEW! teen program coming up on April 13! Teens ages 11-14 are invited to Climate Action Saturday with Hitchcock Educator Monya and local youth climate activists.

Teens will learn about climate action in a hopeful, uplifting way, take part in hands-on #ClimateAction activities that join art and science, and think about how they can bring climate action to the Valley with their peers.
